Just wondering, will you have stipulations on using SAG or non-SAG actors?
Using SAG or non-SAG actors will be at the discretion of the producers of each team.
Thanks….I know one of those 48 or 72 hour film festivals didn’t let SAG actors do it and a friend of ours didn’t know that until after the fact. Of course he is a SAG actor so they had to scrap his project.
When will we know if we’ve been chosen to be in your festival?

These pilots will be New Media projects and thus would fall under the New Media contract, whereas the 48 or 72 hour film festivals are short films and fall under a seperate contract with seperate rules.
Hopefully they can let the 12 producers know that they have been selected before the February 19 deadline.
If CTW notifies us on February 20 or 21st, that gives us only 9 working days to get the okay from SAG. It’s tight, but it’s possible. You would not submit to SAG as a contest. You would submit to them as a normal SAG New Media project.

Thanks…that’s exactly why I was wondering when people would know if they had been selected, however, it might still be tight to make it a SAG new media, as a script has to be submitted as well. Since I’m already a SAG signatory producer and have a point person it might still work though.
