Posted by Jenni Powell on March 03, 2011 in events

We were overwhelmed and honored to be able to screen the 13 pilots of Celebrate the Web 4 to a SOLD OUT crowd in full and glorious HD (thanks to Matt Lewis, creator of Video Game Reunion, and the ACME Comedy Theatre)! After a fabulous night and some equally fabulous mingling, after a bit of recovery time we wanted to post the list of awards that were presented last night (but despite being a cliché, we really do mean this: all 13 pilots were winners just for getting made!): Best Use of Numerical Element: Life's Little Ultimatum Best Use of Graphic Element: Happy Hunting, Target Kil

Pilots Are In: Now TIME TO VOTE!

Posted by Taryn ONeill on March 03, 2011 in news

Congratulations to all CTW teams who uploaded their pilots this morning! All of us at Celebrate the Web knew what an undertaking our 'Raising the Bar' Web Festival was going to be. Conceiving of an entire series and completing a full pilot in under 7 days is an epic challenge. We knew many of the submitted teams wouldn't be able to complete the festival but we are thrilled that 13 teams met this challenge head on! This is a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT. Because of this, we have adjusted this portion of the Web Festival. We are excited to report that ALL 13 PILOTS will be shown at the final screening
