Excitement Mounts as Celebrate the Web 2 Approaches!

After our first announcement, we are thrilled that Liz Miller at NewTeeVee did some coverage announcing a few of our exciting new additions:

Sam ProofThe host of the AFK Show, Sam Proof has a large online following and brings a unique blend of talents to the role of moderator of the forums. His knowledge and love of all things web makes him a perfect fit for the spirit of the event.

Shawna TrpcicThis hugely talented costume designer for Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Dollhouse, and Angel (among many other shows) joins the sci fi panel. Building out a world through costumes is so important to the sci fi genre and we’re thrilled to have Shawna Trpcic to give us an inside glimpse into this extremely important part of production.

Craig FrankA web series veteran, Craig Frank has appeared in such popular series as The Crew and Compulsions. He joins the fantasy/gaming panel for his most recent project A Good Knight’s Quest.

Rudy Jahchan With years of online creation under his belt, Rudy Jahchan is well-known for his writing and directing work on A Comicbook Orange and Galacticast as well as his recent guest-directing stint on Bumps in the Night. He joins the fantasy/gaming panel.

Ryan RobbinsRyan Robbins is a Canadian actor from the series Riese. He recently appeared in a six-episode arc on Battlestar spin-off Caprica) and will appear with Ryan Copple to discuss Riese‘s recent SyFy acquisition.With just a few weeks until the event, the Celebrate the Web team is abuzz with putting together all the exciting pieces for this event. It’s been an exhausting but ultimately completely rewarding experience and we can’t wait to bring it to the web community!
