A celebration of scifi/horror/fantasy/gaming web series is heading to San Diego on July 24th, hosted by web series multi-hyphenates Stephanie Thorpe, Taryn O’Neill and Jenni Powell, in conjunction with Kim Evey and Jenni Powell’s Celebrate the Web.
If you are a web series fan looking to attend an event where creators and talent of some of your favorite online series will be gathered to discuss their creations and mingle, this is for you!

What are we doing?
We’re hosting a live-streamed forum with genre web content creators and talent. There will be two separate forums: Scifi/Horror and Fantasy/Gaming, each with a moderated discussion, a Q&A section, and of course exclusive videos…all to celebrate the growing online community.
Why are we doing this?
As web series producers, genre enthusiasts and Comic Con attendees, we hope to foster a growing representation of web series and provide a venue for fans in San Diego (and online) to celebrate our collective medium. As the web grows, so does its audience, and we are creating an additional opportunity for industry and fans to interact with the talent behind their favorite shows and introduce them to upcoming ones. This event will aim to be informative and broaden the exposure of web series yet still provide the informal setting of a fun, social mixer: An event that balances the education of a forum with the fun of New Media meetups.

It’s on Sat… AND it’s early enough I can easily attend (and drag the boyfriend along).
Also – I can get him into more series via the panels that are definitely in line with his interests. That’s winning all around.
Let me know if you need ANY help Jenni and crew!

Yes b!X, you were the 2nd RSVP. The first was Robert Welkner of Coin-Op TV. Now I feel like I should give him some sort of prize. Heehee.
Cool, should be able to stay up late enough for the streaming!
